How our nervous system asks for help
When we carry stress or trauma in our bodies, our nervous system becomes dysregulated. Our muscles become tight and systems in our body (reproductive, digestive and elimination) begin to slow down. Daily life is no longer filled with joy, peace and patience, but rather anxiety, frustration and tension. We often become more critical of ourselves and those around us. We can experience unhealthy changes in weight, feel tired and unmotivated, grind our teeth, lose sleep and feel depressed and limited by our circumstances. Thankfully there is a solution for when these stresses begin to take over the body and mind and you don't have to live with a dysregulated nervous system or experience its symptoms any longer.
What is TRE?
TRE stands for Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises. It is a set of 7 simple exercises created by Dr. David Berceli, PHD., to help release tension and trauma from your body and regulate your nervous system. It engages your body's natural tremor mechanism by fatiguing different muscle groups, beginning at the feet and moving up to the psoas muscle. These exercises give relief to your entire body and mind and help you enjoy life again.

I’m passionate to help people live life to the fullest! I value the process of learning to relax, be present, and simply release tension and trauma from the mind and body. For years, my mind worked overtime and I began feeling pain in my neck and shoulders. Additionally, I was constantly worried about the future and was unable to stay present or be grateful. It took time, but through TRE I began to regain peace in my life and relax the muscles in my body that had known tension for far too long. Joy grew in my heart as I began to exchange worry for peacefulness. Now, my goal is to help others the way I have been helped through TRE.

What does a TRE session look like?
In a 1 hour TRE session, I will teach you 7 simple exercises that will engage your body's natural tremor mechanism. We will start at your feet by rolling them gently back and forth. Then, you will engage your calves, legs and hips. Through these exercises and deep breathing, you will begin to tremor and your body will be able to regulate your nervous system and come back to a state of peace and balance.
